It is imperative that ethical, positive reinforcement dog training is accessible to all who need it.
With this in mind, I have a designated number of sliding scale spots per month, following the framework and language from The Dog Behavior Institute and Green Bottle Model from Alexis J. Cunningfolk. Our sincerest thanks to these folks who helped pave the way for this offering! Read this article to learn more about the original model.

Option 3: 70% off- you pay 30%
How to access
There are a set number of spots available for sliding scale enrollment each month. If a sliding scale spot is not available when you reach out, you can be added to a wait list for a future month.
My sliding scale pricing is not based on income alone and you do not need to provide any proof of need. To qualify for sliding scale pricing, just email me telling me which sliding scale option you would like.
Please note that sliding scale pricing is not a discount. If you are able to pay for full price services, please do. Folks paying full price is how I can ensure that the sliding scale options are available for those who truly need them. If you purchase a sliding scale price when you can honestly afford the full cost of the service, you are limiting access to those who truly need the gift of financial flexibility.
Being truthful with yourself and your financial situation when engaging with sliding scale practices grows strong and sustainable communities. Additionally, when I am paid fairly, I am able to invest more time and resources into free and lower cost offerings.
The true cost of the service
The true cost of each service reflects the time and money I have invested into my education and into offering you the service. Without a sliding scale, this is the cost I’d charge all clients. If you are able to pay for your “wants” and spend little time worried about securing necessities in your life, this price is for you.
The middle costs (Option 1 & 2)
These price options are my acknowledgement that paying the full cost could prevent some folks from accessing my services. If you are struggling to build savings, but have a steady income and are not spending significant time worried about meeting your basic needs, these prices are for you.
The lowest cost (Option 3)
This price is recognizes that there are people whose economic circumstances would prevent them from accessing ethical dog training services. If you struggle to maintain access to basic needs like health care, housing, food, child care, this price is probably for you.
